The thought that our rights are not absolute is dangerous thinking, the fact that any president would say that openly is even scarier. Joe Biden used the go old "you can't yell fire in a movie theater"to argue against the Amendments of the Constitution. Of you course you can yell fire... if there is a fire, you let everyone know of the danger as a responsible person would. Now if there is no fire, now we need to look at your intend, was it malicious to cause a panic, a distraction of another crime? The point is you still have the vocal chords to speak but in the process of yelling fire when there was no fire, there were other laws that were broken. Just like with the 2nd Amendment, we have the right to keep and bare arms, and we can defend ourselves, but you can't murder someone.
The Constitution was written by people who were abused by their government, they saw and understood firsthand how a government grows corrupt with power. If you ever studied history it is something that repeats itself time and time again. Over the years in world history we see laws that are made to protect and establish natural rights people have. One of the earliest known examples is from about 539 B.C. by Persian King Cyrus the Great. Known as the Cyrus Cylinder it establishes that"that all people had the right to choose their own religion, and established racial equality. Essentially rights were and are viewed today as natural laws, natural laws basically meaning, laws of nature and only laws of nature could be from God or higher power (insert your God or religion here). So the phrase you may have heard "these are our God given Rights", comes from that understanding. Much later Sir Edward Coke 1552-1634, during is life and career in law and politics was highly influential. He made statements that were used to later create the 3rd and 4th Amendments as well as self defense laws like the "Castle Doctrine". Our founding fathers came from a place were a king or any person with money and power could accuse another without any proof of a crime, the accused would be imprisoned or even executed.
So now that we have a better understanding of where we came from in history, and why the Constitution was created. The Constitution has many Amendments the first 10 are known as the Bill of Rights, the framers wanted to emphasize how important the first 10 are. "The Bill of Rights spells out Americans’ rights in relation to their government. It guarantees civil rights and liberties to the individual—like freedom of speech, press, and religion. It sets rules for due process of law and reserves all powers not delegated to the Federal Government to the people or the States. The Bill of Rights is proof that our rights are natural laws given to us by our Creator, no government can take or legislate those rights away. It's a direct statement to the government of what they CAN NOT do because they have no legal power. The framers of the Constitution knew that the very government they were creating would become corrupt so they limited its power over the people and instead made the government a servant of the people.
Yeah whoa there, knowing the truth is what many people in government don't want you to know. Their actions, voting history, and disingenuous statements paint the picture. So remember our Rights are absolute, banning things will not solve the underlining problems that cause crime, more people are killed by knives, hammers, and other blunt objects. So what's really going on? I dare you to go out and research and look at the data objectively and see through the lies we are being fed, follow the money and let's take our country back.
